ORDERING INFORMATION - PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE ORDERING

The product that we offer is standard working drawings, ( also known as 'stock plans' ), a copyrighted product prepared and sold to make available a specific design at reasonable cost. Our standard working drawings include full foundations, floorplans, elevations, necessary sections, dimensioned framing plans, interior and exterior trim details and outline specifications.

Some locales may require that working drawings bear the stamp of a locally registered architect or engineer, while other locations will accept the licensed contractor's signed affidavit that the building, as constructed, meets local building requirements. Our firm does NOT provide sealed stamping on standard working drawings or modified standard working drawings. We recommend that you check with your local Building Inspector or Building Department where you intend to build, to ascertain the specific requirements.

The material shown on the working drawings and specifications is copyrighted. Any printed, electronic or other reproduction of any or all of this material is prohibited, including any modifications to the standard plans offered for sale, re-sale, or re-use.

All working drawings are printed to order and are not returnable
or refundable.

ORDERING THE WORKING DRAWINGS

In ordering the working drawings, we recommend that you ascertain how many sets you will require. Generally, five (5) sets are sufficient. However, additional sets may be required for approval in Historic Districts and the like.

  • One set of working drawings - 750.00
  • Each additional set same design - $30.00
  • Five sets same design - $850.00
  • Seven sets same design - $865.00

Reversed sets may be purchased. Reverse sets are mirror image, with all figures and writing reversed, so we recommend that at least one set ordered not be reversed. Working drawings consist of the detailed drawings from which construction costs may be obtained and from which the building
may be constructed.

CHANGES TO THE STANDARD WORKING DRAWINGS

Our firm does perform modifications to our standard working drawings,
when a client desires portions to be changed. In many instances, a
licensed contractor is capable of performing minor changes, pending
approval of the local Building Inspector or Building Department. Where
state law requires a licensed architect or engineer's sealed stamp, a locally registered person should be obtained. If you are interested in information on our modification service or a complete custom design, please contact our office and we will send information on our services to you.
